Position: Network Engineer

Search Group Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our network is secure, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.

- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement network upgrades and expansions.

- Maintain and update network documentation and diagrams.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology.

- Provide technical support and assistance to other departments as needed.

- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering.

- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

- Familiarity with network security best practices and technologies.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus.
