Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to patients in accordance with state practice laws and professional standards. This role involves evaluating and treating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and supervising therapy assistants and aides. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate documentation, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients based on medical necessity.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve functional goals.
- Document patient progress and maintain compliance with facility and payor requirements.
- Supervise therapy assistants and aides.
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Stay current with continuing education and maintain CPR certification.
- Participate in facility meetings and in-service training as needed.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current CPR certification.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (CAPTE) or equivalent for internationally educated therapists.
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current TB test in compliance with state guidelines.
