Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with Search Group Solutions. As a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to animals and their owners. This is a contract position, with the potential for permanent placement within our client's organization.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and injuries in animals. You will also be responsible for educating pet owners on proper animal care and providing guidance on preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct physical examinations of animals to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries

- Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering, and other medical procedures as needed

- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments to animals

- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures

- Provide emergency medical care to animals in critical situations

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients

- Collaborate with other veterinarians and veterinary staff to ensure the best possible care for animals

- Stay up-to-date on new developments and advancements in veterinary medicine

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school

- Valid state veterinary license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Proficient in using veterinary medical equipment and software
